He was officially entrusted with the leadership of the ACCI in 2003 and has continued to guide the church to success and growth. Apostle Brakatu is married with six children and is known for his wisdom, passion for ministry, and humility.

Apostle Clement Brakatu is a highly respected leader and founder of the Apostles Continuation Church International (ACCI). Born and raised in Sampa, a town in the Bono Region of Ghana, he received his elementary education at the Wenchi Presbyterian Primary and Middle Schools before pursuing further studies in agriculture at the Wenchi Farming Institute.

After earning his General Certificate in Agriculture in 1972, Apostle Brakatu began his career as a Farm Assistant at the Bechem Secondary School in the Ahafo Region. He later worked at the Duayaw Nkwanta Senior Secondary School, where he was eventually promoted to Senior Farm Assistant. It was during his time at this school that Apostle Brakatu first encountered the late Apostle E.K. Owusu, who was holding small prayer meetings at his home in Duayaw Nkwanta. With the help of his friend, Apostle Paul Manu, Apostle Brakatu joined the prayer group and eventually became a founding member of the ACCI.

As the ACCI grew and gained popularity throughout the Brong Ahafo Region, Apostle Brakatu left his secular job to focus on the ministry full-time. He worked alongside Apostle E.K. Owusu to establish branches of the ACCI in the Ashanti Region and later travelled to Toronto, Canada to begin an international ministry. Apostle Clement Brakatu was instrumental in the expansion of the ACCI in Northern America and Europe, including in Montreal, Bronx, Columbus, Ohio, Barcelona, the Netherlands, and London.

In 2003, Apostle Brakatu was recalled to Ghana by the founder, Apostle E.K. Owusu, who was in poor health due to old age. Upon his return, he was officially entrusted with the leadership of the ACCI. Under his guidance and direction, the ACCI has continued to thrive and grow. He is married to Mrs Elizabeth Ameyaa Brakatu and they have six children together. Apostle Brakatu is known for his wisdom, passion for the ministry, and humility, and serves as a role model for other Christian leaders.
